Your Morning Fix –  A Sunrise Workout for Energy!

How do you wake up feeling alive, and keep feeling alive all day long? With an upbeat, high energy, full body workout, that’s how!

Before you even have chance to talk yourself out of exercising, put your workout kit on, tie up your laces and get yourself to the gym. I’m a huge advocate of the morning workout. Not only does it increase my energy for the remainder of the day, but also it reduces anxiety, stress, and from a physiological perspective it kicks starts your metabolism turning you into a calorie-burning machine.

When you train first thing in the morning, you’re less likely to make poor nutrition choices throughout the day, and your productivity and focus at work is significantly increased. When you exercise, your body releases those “feel good” endorphins that can reduce the feelings of pain and somewhat act as a “sedative”. That post workout high you hear of is actually a thing. Want to experience it? Then here is the workout for you!

TABATA

– SKIPPING
– BARBELL SQUAT PRESS
– DEAD BALL SLAMS
– MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS
– KETTLE BELL SWINGS
– BOX JUMPS (OR STEP UPS)
– DUMBELL RENEGADE ROWS

*WORK THROUGH EACH EXERCISE ON A 20 SECOND EFFORT TO 10 SECOND REST RATIO. HAVE 30 SECONDS REST IN BETWEEN EACH NEW EXERCISE. BLOCKS WILL TAKE 4 MINUTES EACH TO COMPLETE.
