Mindful Self-Compassion-Part 2: 3-day workshop

To attend this workshop you need to have previously completed Mindfulness and Self-Compassion 2-day workshop (part 1 of the Mindful Self-Compassion program).

Give yourself the gift of Mindful Self-Compassion for a better personal and work life!

Mindful Self-Compassion is an outstanding workshop! This program consists of extending didactic and experiential training exercises in mindfulness and self-compassion, to improve personal lives and professional skills. The aim is to continue to learn the powerful practices of Mindfulness and Self-Compassion from inside out: that is by applying Mindful Self-Compassion in our lives, we can better use it in our professional work for more effective engagement and interventions.

The applications of mindfulness and self-compassion are revolutionalising mental health. Mindfulness allows us to stand back, to see what is, to pause and choose again, to re-wire the brain. Self-Compassion is about being present with connection and warmth during times of pain and struggles. When we combine mindfulness and self-compassion, we transform how we relate to ourselves and our difficulties in a most profound way to facilitate change and healing. Mindful Self-Compassion is about learning to ease difficult emotions, care for others compassionately and be more fully ourselves in our roles.

Rapidly expanding research shows that mindfulness and self-compassion are strongly associated with emotional well-being, lower levels of anxiety, depression, and pain as well as better healthy habits such as diet and exercise, more satisfying personal relationships and enhanced self-care.

The research indicates that health professionals specifically benefit from interventions that increase their mindfulness and self-compassion because it strengthens their relationships with clients/patients, reduces the chances of empathetic distress fatigue and burnout and increase their resilience and well-being.

In this workshop you will be presented evidence-based strategies to manage stress, anxiety, depression, pain, shame and other conditions but as well you will be introduced to micro self-care practices to present burnout. At the end of the workshop you will feel refreshed and revitalised.

Participation in this program has been extraordinary; thousands of health professionals, around the world have attended similar workshops since 2013. Mindful Self-Compassion was developed by Christopher K. Germer, leader in the integration of compassion and psychotherapy and Kristin Neff, pioneering researcher in the field of self-compassion. In this one program, they have successfully integrated concepts and practices from Mindfulness(MBSR, MBCT, DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy(ACT), Compassionate mind training + Compassion-Focused Therapy(CFT) and Cognitive Therapy(CBT) as well as Positive Psychology.

This 3-day program will enable you to:
