Black Sheep Deli is nestled in the heart of Cowaramup, a once blink-and-you-miss-it, sleepy town now bursting with vibrancy and eclectic cool. Black Sheep is a down to earth and welcoming eatery with friendly service and a focus on honest local and organic produce. Black Sheep Deli host an authentic Pho Bar every Tuesday and Friday which is a huge hit with locals and visitors alike. There’s something for everyone here – the raw ginger slice and turmeric lattes are divine, as well as fresh salads, healthful juices and smoothies and meals with integrity all made from scratch.

If an abundance of fresh, local produce, gourmet delights and ready to go drinks & meals floats your boat then the Margaret River Farmers Markets is a must see. It is held every Saturday from 7:30am to 11:30am and is a true feast for the senses with a wonderful gathering of like minded people attending. There’s seasonal produce, bakery items, raw foods, hot drinks and more goodness than you can poke a stick at. You can go at anytime but the locals know that earliest is best! A one stop shop for the finest the region has to offer.

Mohican Store in Margaret River has the best of boho, both luxe and budget friendly, evening wear or casual, to get you looking gorge. The girls in here are super friendly and happy to help so even if you don’t know what to find to suit you these ladies will have you looking like a million bucks in no time with zero stress.

If you’re a salty sea goddess Hobo & Hatch in Busselton has you spoilt for choice with apparel, treasures for the home and body and the most divine range of jewellery. A small boutique big on passion, range and style.

Saharan Daze in Cowaramup is an experience with an eclectic mix of Moroccan homewares, locally designed fashion, shoes and accessories. To top this off Saharan Daze has an authentic Beduoin Tent set up in the back with oodles of inviting soft furnishings where you can relax and enjoy a glass of organic Moroccan mint tea. It’s like stepping straight into an exotic new world! Definitely unique and memorable.

Reconnect

Take some time to breathe and reconnect to nature. Studies now show that taking time out in nature actually helps to rewire your brain so the benefits of unwinding last even after you have left. That aside it’s totally easy to enjoy your time when there is such an abundance of amazing, pristine spots in the South!

When it comes to beaches we are completely spoilt for choice. The coast line is vast and varied and you will find everything from calm, crystal waters to pumping offshore swell. Hamelin Bay is an amazing stretch south of Margaret River which I love for it’s lack of mobile reception (you can absolutely take photos for Instagram for later though!) It’s famous for having daily groups of friendly stingrays visit which really has to be experienced to believe it’s beauty.

Boranup Forest, also known as the fairy forest, is a spectacular drive just 25 minutes south of Margaret River. Featuring breathtaking Karri trees and an abundance of wildflowers you can stop here to explore, rest, take photos or enjoy a picnic at the lookout. Simply stunning.

The Cape To Cape stretches across the whole length of the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge over 135km of scenic coast and forests.
